# What are the rebates at the top tiers?

At the highest tiers, the maker fee turns negative, meaning it becomes a rebate.

Because maker fees apply only when a resting order actually fills, a maker order that executes at these tiers pays you rather than costs you.

Taker fees still apply, but they are at their lowest at these tiers.
