# How are my fees set?

Your fees are set by your fee tier, which advances automatically on rolling 30-day volume across all perpetual markets.

During beta, discounted rates apply: [taker fees are halved](https://arcus.xyz/blog/arcus-perpetuals-taker-fees-halved-for-beta), and [maker fees are zero](https://arcus.xyz/blog/arcus-perpetuals-maker-fees-zero-for-beta) for Tiers 0 through 4.
