# Why Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood Chain is purpose-built for trading and tokenized assets, delivering the low-latency performance Arcus needs while inheriting Ethereum L1 settlement security.

It also gives Arcus access to the Chain’s  Stock Token infrastructure, which mints and redeems the Stock Tokens traded on Arcus.
