# Do I need crypto to pay network fees (gas fees)?

Not all, but some spot trades may require you to pay for gas fees in the form of ETH (on Robinhood).

In that case, we recommend you to bridge ETH over to Robinhood chain using one of the bridging providers [here](https://docs.robinhood.com/chain/bridging/) or using Uniswap's built in bridge.
