# Who issues the Stock Tokens?

Stock Tokens are issued by Bitstamp - minted by Bitstamp Global Ltd. (a BVI VASP). Bitstamp is a custodial virtual-asset and securities exchange holding VASP/CASP, MiFID, and other licenses.

Arcus is the trading venue, not the issuer.
