# Why might the token price differ from the real stock price?

The token tracks the underlying, but the executable price reflects live supply and demand: it includes the maker's spread, widens outside US hours, and moves with order size as larger orders consume more liquidity.

A chart price is a mid or last price with no size and no execution guarantee.
