# Can I trade Equity Perps when the underlying market is closed?

Yes. 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Outside US market hours, funding is fixed at the off-hours financing rate (SOFR + 0.5%), and trading bands are enforced to guard against unwarranted liquidations. Normal funding payments resume when the underlying market reopens.
