# During a delisting, can I close my position?

Yes. Once a delisting is announced, you have a defined window to close voluntarily. After the effective date, any open positions settle automatically at the protocol level against the final reference price, paid in USD.

The close window and settlement method for each delisting are published via @Arcus\_xyz beforehand.
