# Are Equity Perps halted when the underlying is halted?

No - they keep trading. The oracle holds the last pre-halt price, bands constrain price action, and funding snaps to its fixed off-hours rate (SOFR + 0.5%), preventing manipulation while the underlying can't be referenced. Normal funding and oracle calculation resume when the halt lifts.
