# How often is funding paid?

Hourly during the underlying's regular hours, applied to position notional and settled automatically in USD.

The annualized rate is divided by 8,760 - 24×365 - for the hourly figure; that scale factor is sometimes mistaken for an 8-hour interval, but payments are hourly.

Outside regular hours it's fixed at SOFR + 0.5% until trading resumes.
