# Can I be liquidated when using Multi-Asset Collateral?

Yes. Every eligible asset carries a **maintenance LTV** - a threshold on the ratio of loan balance to collateral value.

A growing loan or falling collateral value can each push an account across it; past that point, the account becomes eligible for liquidation, and perpetuals positions, deposited assets, or both may be closed automatically until the account is back within margin limits.
